Taraba state governorship aspirant of the Accord Party (AP), Prof Jerome Nyameh, has pledged to prioritize security for peaceful coexistence among ethnic in the state, if elected governor in 2027.
This is just as he lamented the growing debt profile of the state without corresponding infrastructural or economic advancement.
Nyameh also assured that youth development through skills training agric empowerment would form part of his administration center focus, toward mitigating poverty and starvation in the state.
“My administration would prioritize the security of citizens against violence conflict,” The governorship aspirant stated.

This is not what we bargained for. The right to life is a fundamental human right of every man,” Prof Nyameh assured.
According to Nyameh, his decision to contest the governorship election was not inspired by personal ambition, but by an urgent moral responsibility to rescue Taraba from backwardness, economic decline, insecurity, rising debt profile and systemic abuse of power

The Accord party’s governorship candidate also pledged that his administration would collaborate with agencies and organizations to attract productive based infrastructures for youth development in the state.
“My administration would collaborate with agencies and organizations to attract productive based infrastructures. We will establish recreational centres where youth would be trained in Entrepreneurship development to be employers of labour, rather than job seekers”.
Prof. Nyameh called on all Tarabans to support the ambition, as it is basically a movement to rescue Taraba from collapsing, and rebuild the citizens future.
