In an apparent attempt to ensure seamless victory in the 2027 general elections for the party, the ruling All Progressives Party (APC) in Taraba State has constituted three high powered reconciliation Committees to address the grievances of its members arising from the just concluded Primary elections.
The reconciliation committees have explicit terms of reference with its distinctive memberships cut across the three geopolitical zones in the State.
According to a statement signed and released to Journalists on Thursday in Jalingo by the Party’s State Publicity Secretary, Aaron Artimas, the Northern Zone has Sen Sani Danladi as Chairman, other members include Amb. Anthony George Manzo, Sen. Amuno Zik Sunday, Hon. Ahmed Yusuf, Hon. Julius Taro Bitako, Hon. Oliver Suleiman, Hon. Yunana Kinkan, Madam Fatima Zogimba, Hon. Linus Ibrahim, Haj. Rukaiya Adimbi, while Alj. Aminu Jika is to serve as Secretary.
In the Central Zone, the Committee has Barr. Ibrahim Tukur El-Sudi as Chairman, other members are Sen. Dahiru Bako, RT.Hon. Simon Inusa Dogari, Sen. Bashir Marafa, Prof. Ahmed Yusa’u, Dr. Abdulahmid Njoddi, Madam Esther Yenda Mohammed Ngogo, Hon. Amos John, Barr. Idris Jali, and Hon. Kuriya Tafarki is Secretary.
While the Southern Zone has Dr. Philip Duwe as Chairman, and His Excellency , Alj. Armayau Abubakar former deputy governor as member. Other members include RT. Hon. Istifanus Gbana, Barr. Danladi Kifasi, Chief Ezekiel Afukunyo, Dr. Dalhatu Sangari.
Others in the reconciliation Committee in Southern zone include Hon. Ahiji Musa, Hon. Ibrahim Kitchener, Hon. Habika Timothy, Abba Ade Ibbi, while Hon. Jemimah Nwunuji is the Zonal Committee’s Secretary.
The State party’s Publicity Secretary, Artimas, explained in the statement that the Committee members would be inaugurated as soon as possible at a later date.
