Taraba state chapter of the All Progressives Congress (APC), has announced that it may close the sale of intent and nomination forms for aspirants seeking elective positions in the 2027 election today.
In a statement released by the party’s publicity secretary, Aaron Artimas, the party also informed that submission of forms will close tomorrow.
The statement further announced on behalf of the State Working Committee of the party that payment of administrative charges remains compulsory for aspirants seeking for National Assemblies and Governorship elections.
According to the statement, House of Representatives aspirants are to pay Three Million Naira, Senate Five Million Naira, and Governorship aspirants Ten Million Naira. It urged aspirants to ensure compliance as part of their qualification requirements.
The APC also directed all aspirants to make ten photocopies each, of their “Expression of Interest” and “Nomination Forms; place the copies in ten envelopes, together with their attached documents.

Aspirants are to write their names and state constituencies on the envelopes and wrap them together.
“After completing this process, they are to wait for further instructions on whether to submit them to the National Secretariat or retain them at the State Office”. The statement read.
The statement also described an endorsement report on governor Agbu Kefas by Daily Trust as hasty and premature.
It said the formal endorsement may come later at a more appropriate time, when the issue of other candidates has been amicably resolved; since the endorsement of the governor has become a fait accomplish based on the mood of leaders, and governor Kefas is more concerned about securing a peaceful process of selecting and endorsing other candidates through consensus.
